We are currently recruiting two Area Sales Managers (field based) to join a world leading Electric Heating Systems business who are Head Quartered in Spain. These roles cover the North Wales and South Wales regions and applicants for this position could be based in any central area such as Manchester, Liverpool, or Stoke on Trent (for North Wales) and Cardiff, Newport, Gloucester or Worcester (for South Wales)

The role will be fully field based, with one day per week or fortnight (TBD) in the Peterborough office with other Area Sales Managers.. The role will require extensive travel across the region, which can involve spending time away from home and occasional travel to Spain for on-boarding and training.

This position would suit you if you were looking to join a forward-thinking business at a time of strong organic growth. You will ideally have field based sales experience, preferably in the electrical distribution sector, but all backgrounds considered based on merit.

Details

  • Monday-Friday
  • Circa �30,000 - c�40,000 per annum based on experience
  • Average OTE of �15,000 per annum
  • Company car, laptop, and phone provided
  • On-boarding in both Spain and the UK

The role

  • Maintaining and increasing sales of products through positive relationships with your customers (mainly installers and electrical distributors).
  • Executing the Commercial strategy in line with company vision and goals.
  • Increasing business opportunities and sales through various routes to market.
  • Keeping up to date with products and competitors.
  • Reaching targets and goals set for your area.
  • Servicing the needs of your existing customers.
  • Delivering Marketing campaigns as and when necessary

About you

  • A demonstrated background within field sales
  • Happy to travel extensively, with the potential for overnight stays
  • Goal orientated with experience of working to, and exceeding, targets
  • Excellent persuasion and negotiation skills
  • Legally able to travel within Europe
  • Excellent communication skills - phone and face to face
  • Live in a central location to North Wales, such as Manchester, Liverpool, or Stoke on Trent
