Paint & Coatings will involve:Field sales role promoting our clients manufactured range of coatings / varnishes, decorative paint, specialist paints and adhesivesAll of your time will be spent selling into national paint distributors / wholesalers & decorative merchants such as; Dulux, Crown Paints & Johnsons with the occasional sale into smaller independentsYou will be targeted on retaining and looking after existing accounts as well as bringing on new accounts within your areaDeveloping a solid product knowledge to enable you to offer superb advice and expertise to customers as well as product training 85% of your time will focus on account development, as our client is only really exploiting a small proportion of most customers account potential (improved point of sale, better 15% of your time will be new business focussed; recruiting new accounts and stimulating demand with customers displays, demonstrations etc)Order values can vary between £250 and £7000The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager
