Area Sales Manager (Specialist Vehicles)

Alexander James Recruiting is currently seeking a driven & technically minded sales professional to work for a well-established supplier of specialist commercial vehicles seeking a sales person to work across the South East. With a package to include a competitive salary and commission scheme as well as a car allowance, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technical sales person looking to take on a new role.

Responsibilities

• Managing existing accounts in the sale of specialist commercial vehicle products across the South East
• Business development across the same area
• Selling service contracts related to skip loaders & other, related products
• Providing a consultative approach to customers
• Take responsibility for region revenue stream and overall growth
• Sell the company's range of maintenance products and cooperate effectively with the service team

Requirements

You will ideally have some experience in a sales role preferably with a background in trucks, cranes, material handling or other capital equipment. It is highly preferable you have had some experience in a niche sector within the commercial vehicle industry with an understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics though this is not essential. Crucially you will be a driven sales person with the driven and focus to look to commit to a long term role. In terms of location you can be based anywhere with reasonable access to London and the M25 and up as far as Northampton.
