Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee sales activities within a designated region, drive revenue growth, and build strong relationships with clients. Previous experience selling abrasives into a distribution network would be desirable.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and targets.
- Analyze sales data and trends to identify opportunities for growth.
- Manage and mentor a team of sales representatives to ensure high performance and productivity.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective promotional materials and campaigns.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the industry.
- Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM software to track sales activities and performance metrics.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales management, with a focus on achieving revenue targets.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales performance data.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel within the designated region as needed.
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience.
- Driving Licence (required).
