About the Role: We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to take on the well-established area, DT,SP,BH,SO. You will inherit a significant customer base of Independent Retailers and the goodwill and relationships enjoyed by Florco. Whilst we have a strong and enviable reputation in the market today - there's no room for complacency. The goal is to grow the business with new and existing customers. As retail and market trends evolve, your role will be to keep at the forefront of those - spotting and leveraging opportunities to grow sales with exiting products and customers and proactively creating openings to list new products and bring new customers on board. You will have all the tools to do the job: the broadest and best floor covering ranges, great delivery and top class customer service. From there its down to you! You will need to leverage your commerciality, customer relationship and building skills, tenacity and drive to build and grow the area. Specifically, you will be responsible for: Managing your area to deliver sales revenue targets. Building relationships with new and existing customers advising and influencing them to grow flooring sales for both them and you. Cleverly utilising sampling and displays to introduce customers to new products and ranges and drive incremental sales. Managing customer pricing quotations and terms to reflect the complexity of products, price points, volumes and credit terms. We are looking for a sales professional who shares our passion for the floor covering sector its products and trends. You'll need to have the tenacity, enthusiasm and can-do attitude to take this amazing range and build both excitement and commitment in your customers. It's a pretty large geography - so you'll be organised, structured and conscientious in how you approach your territory and journey planning, reporting and follow-up activity. Being out on the road means you'll need to be self-reliant and self-motivated, but we'd like you to be a great team player too! We have a strong team ethos and encourage all colleagues to work together to provide the best experience for our customers. In particular you'll bring: Sales success - in a retail, wholesale or other customer-facing role. An impressive track record of driving sales via a consultative-selling approach. You'll ideally have some experience in a floor coverings, soft furnishing, DIY or home-related sector - or an interest you'd like to develop. Strong organisational skills and experience of working with CRM or similar systems. A strong work ethic and a passion for exploring new opportunities to build business with your customers. A full, clean Driving Licence.
