Our mission is to make mobile living easy.Dometic UK Awnings Ltd are looking to recruit a key member of their sales team – Area Sales Manager. The purpose of this role is to manage an existing customer portfolio, maximise sales productivity and grow new business opportunities in Northern England and Ireland region.This position is a combination of field and office based (at our offices in Witham, Essex). Daily travel and in person presence is an ongoing expectation of the successful candidate.PurposeTo manage all Dometic UK Awnings Ltd business and its growth with allocated distributors, dealer networks and independent dealers within the Outdoor and Recreational Vehicle markets for designated areas. The key aims are to develop a consistent and methodical sales approach to:Main ResponsibilitiesIncrease sales via pro-active selling and mentoring of the Distributors.Increase sales via pro-active selling and mentoring of the dealer networks and independent dealersMaximise ‘mind share’ of Kampa as well as Dometic brands within the Distributor and Dealer marketsEnsure marketing and promotion of complete Kampa and Dometic ranges with each Distributor and dealer.Develop quarterly and annual strategy plans, growth plans and business plans with all Distributors and dealers.Maximise the brand promotion and exposure through attendance at national shows as well as customer road shows.The post-holder may be asked to take on different tasks as required, and all employees are expected to work collaboratively to support the overall goals of Dometic.
