Secondary Academy based in NW London are looking for an experienced Art Teacher who can deliver lessons to KS3/KS4/KS5. You will have the opportunity to work within an already established and well organised department looking to expand. This position is to start September 2024, on a long term ongoing or permanent basis.
Your new role

Starting September 2024, you will be responsible for teaching Art across KS3 - KS5. As this is a long-term, whole year assignment, you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, as well as completing the subsequent marking and assessment of pupils' work, ensuring all pupils are progressing well within the classroom.This role will also require you to ensure all behaviour is appropriate, and that pupils are achieving to the best of their ability. As this is a long-term position, you will also be required to attend parents' evenings and other school functions.

Art is taken very seriously at the school, and as such, the department is well resourced, with specialist teaching spaces and annual art exhibitions.

What You'll Need To Succeed

In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status and have experience of teaching Art across KS3 to KS5. You must be available to start from September 2024, and possess a real passion and drive to provide a high quality of teaching and therefore contribute to the overall success of the department.Our priority is subject expertise.
