Pay Scale: £115 - £250 per day

Contract: Full Time

The Role:

GSL Education is actively seeking an Art Teacher for immediate placement at our client schools in Sheffield. Art Teacher’s Responsibilities:


  • Plan and deliver dynamic and engaging art lessons incorporating diverse artistic mediums and techniques.
  • Encourage students to explore their creativity, refine their artistic skills, and express themselves through art.
  • Assess student progress and offer constructive feedback to facilitate their artistic growth.
  • Establish an inspiring and inclusive art studio environment conducive to artistic exploration and self-expression.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the art curriculum and present students' artwork in exhibitions and displays.
  • Have a generally patient demeanour when dealing with students.

The Successful Candidate Will:


  • Hold a Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or equivalent qualifications.
  • Have a degree in subject area and strong knowledge on it.
  • Have previous experience working in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • A passion for art and a creative approach to teaching the subject.
  • Be proactive, energetic, kind and caring towards young learners.
