Tradewind are recruiting for a passionate and enthusiastic Art Teacher for a position due to start in January 2025 at one of our St. Helens client schools.

The outline for the position is below:

  • Teacher of Art (KS3 and KS4)
  • Helens secondary school
  • Part-time 0.6 position (full time could be considered with general cover)
  • Expected to continue until July 2025
  • Pay is up to MPS6, £223.62 per day

The appointed Art Teacher will be joining a department which allows pupils to explore Art beyond the National Curriculum and build the next generation of creators. Our St. Helens client school promotes a positive, yet challenging climate where pupils are expected and supported to take risks and have high expectations.

To be considered for this Art Teacher position based in St. Helens the essentials are:

  • Experience teaching Art across KS3 and KS4, following the UK National Curriculum
  • Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
  • Be able to provide a minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
  • Have a child workforce enhanced DBS on the update service, or be prepared to undertake a new disclosure
