ASAP-Maths Teacher - Secondary school in Coventry

Twenty4Seven Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join one of our fantastic secondary schools in Warwick. This role starts immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and deliver dynamic, engaging Maths lessons that challenge and inspire students across various topics, including algebra, geometry, statistics, trigonometry, and calculus.


• Support and Assess: Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support students in achieving their academic goals, helping them to build confidence in their mathematical abilities.


• Resource Development: Prepare and implement creative and engaging resources, including problem-solving tasks, real-life applications of Maths, and interactive activities to deepen students' understanding.


• Classroom Management: Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation, collaboration, and academic excellence.


• Collaborate: Work closely with colleagues to develop and enhance the Maths curriculum, support school-wide academic initiatives, and contribute to extracurricular Maths-related activities, such as Maths clubs or competitions.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).


• Passion for teaching and inspiring students in Maths.


• Strong understanding of Maths concepts, including the ability to teach across different year groups and ability levels.


• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.


• Experience teaching Maths at secondary school level is preferred, but not essential.


• Ability to differentiate lessons for diverse learning needs and inspire a love for the subject.
