Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Asbestos Site Manager to oversee and manage all asbestos-related activities on construction and demolition sites. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of asbestos regulations and safety guidelines, as well as effective management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all asbestos regulations and guidelines on site


• Develop and implement asbestos management plans


• Conduct regular inspections to identify asbestos-containing materials


• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure safe handling and disposal of asbestos


• Provide training and guidance to site personnel on asbestos safety protocols


• Maintain accurate records and reports of asbestos-related activities

Qualifications

• Valid Asbestos Manager Certification


• CSCS qualification


• Extensive knowledge of building and construction regulations


• Strong communication and leadership skills


• Ability to work at heights and in various construction site environments


• Attention to detail and focus on safety

Day-to-day

• Conduct regular site inspections and audits


• Communicate and collaborate with site personnel and management


• Review and update asbestos management plans and procedures


• Train and educate site personnel on safe asbestos handling practices


• Maintain and organize asbestos-related documentation and records

• Asbestos manager cert

The ideal candidate will have a valid Asbestos Manager Certification, demonstrating a solid understanding of asbestos regulations, management, and safety protocols.
