Job Title: Asbestos Lab Analyst.
Location: Gravesend, Kent.
Salary / Benefits �24k - �30k + Training + Benefits
We are working closely with a national UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy who are now looking to take on a Asbestos Lab Analyst to join their South East team. You will have experience using PLM and stereo microscopy to carry out sample analysis in line with HSG 248 guidelines. This role would suit someone who is looking to join a continuously expanding company with a friendly feel, who in return, can provide a competitive salary package, life insurance and company bonus scheme.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Chatham, Dartford, Gillingham, Canterbury, Croydon, Tonbridge, Maidstone, Epsom, Reigate, Crawley, Bexleyheath.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Experience working in a busy UKAS accredited laboratory working as an Asbestos Lab Analyst.
" Will hold the BOHS P401 qualification.
" Will be well versed in HSG 248 guidelines.
" Excellent observational skills.
" Able to manage time efficiently.
" Good IT skills.
The Role:
" Carrying out sample analysis in a UKAS accredited laboratory using PLM and stereo microscopy.
" Correctly labelling and safely storing asbestos samples upon arrival to the lab.
" Assisting with maintaining the companies UKAS accreditation.
" Managing and updating internal systems.
" Completing job sheets upon completion of analysis.
" Calibrating lab equipment when required & keeping the laboratory tidy.
" Working in line with HSG 248 guidelines.
" Communicating with clients and providing support when requested.
