Asbestos Lead

The successful post holder will manage all aspects of Asbestos across the organisations assets ensuring services are maintained and improved. You will undertake significant work in the commercial and residential property sector, and work alongside our colleagues from other disciplines on some exciting projects that are shaping the environment we live and work in.

YOUR JOB
Overseeing delivery of site and office-based asbestos and hazardous materials projects
Overseeing contractors that perform asbestos management, refurbishment, and demolition projects
To provide technical expertise to the Compliance Lead to enable their duties to be fulfilled effectively
Undertaking asbestos verification works
To act as a subject matter expert for the company, in relation to fire safety
Support, develop and maintain the Housing Asbestos management policy
To provide expert advice and guidance to managers and staff at all levels of the organisation and act as a focal point for the management of asbestos related matters

Working
Hours: 37 per week, Monday - Friday

Requirements:
Experience in a similar role, ideally with residential property knowledge
Minimum 3 years' experience within the Asbestos sector, property management or similar sector
Experience of working in a building compliance or asbestos service environment
