We are recruiting for a leading name within the Asbestos Removals industry. They are seeking an experienced Asbestos Supervisor to manage non-licenced removals projects across the Midlands. The ideal candidate will be confident leading teams of removals operatives and must be able to successfully deliver on projects within established budgets and time frames. It is important that applicants hold an excellent level of industry knowledge, and will be able to assess performance in order to keep clients and management updated. The successful candidate can expect competitive day rates as well as attractive company benefits.
Our client can consider candidates who are based around: Wolverhampton, Dudley, Walsall, Birmingham, West Bromwich, Stourbridge, Halesowen, Kidderminster, Penkridge, Cannock, Lichfield, Rugeley, Stafford, Solihull, Royal Leamington Spa, Coventry, Marston Green, Nuneaton, Polesworth, Leicester, Rugby, Coalville, Derby, Nottingham, Beeston, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Melton Mowbray, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Matlock, Chesterfield.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Applicants must have a track record of successfully supervising asbestos removals projects of varying sizes
- Excellent knowledge of industry safety and compliance guidelines
- Must have completed Asbestos Supervisor training and will have the associated ticket
- Will hold a valid CSCS card as well as Asbestos Awareness training
- Strong communication skills
- Able to confidently manage teams
- Good written ability
- Able to use IT applications, including the Office Suite
The Role:
- On a daily basis, you will be managing non-licensed asbestos removal projects operating across domestic and local authority client sites
- Overseeing teams of varying sizes and making sure they work efficiently
- Delegating works, providing training and maintaining adherence with industry compliance
- Ensuring works are completed to a high standard and within agreed deadlines and budgets
- Feeding back to members of management on the progress of projects
- Being a key point of contact for clients, answering any technical and logistical issues
- Monitoring the correct use of PPE at all times
- Maintaining and building working relationships with clients
- Identifying areas of training for site staff
- Writing detailed progress reports
