Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst.
Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Salary / Benefits �24k - �40k + Training + Benefits
A long-standing Construction company based in Northern Ireland are now seeking to take on an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst. This role would suit someone who has extensive experience carrying out various surveying / analytical duties including but not limited to: management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys, sampling of ACMs, 4 stage clearances, and auditing contractors on site, ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines. You will be working on Commercial, Healthcare, Industrial, and Residential sites. Due to the nature of the role, our client would consider candidates who only hold the BOHS P402 or the BOHS P403 P404. Our client can offer a competitive salary (depending on experience), opportunities for overtime with attractive overtime rates, company vehicle & fuel card, death in service and private health insurance.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Newtownards, Comber, Bangor, Dunmurry, Lisburn, Carrickfergus, Carryduff, Ballynahinch, Dromore, Crumlin.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Will hold the BOHS P402 and / or the P403 / P404 or RSPH equivalent.
" Will have experience working hands on for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy.
" Good IT / literacy skills.
" Well versed in HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines.
The Role:
" Working on a varied site base, carrying out management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys.
" Sampling of suspected ACMs, ensuring to safety bag and correctly label prior to sending for analysis.
" Conducting re-inspection surveys.
" Carrying out various air monitoring duties, e.g., 4 stage clearances, leak, smoke, reassurance, background, visual, and personal air resting.
" Completing airborne fibre counting,
" Auditing of contractors on site.
" Working in line with HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines.
" Using tablets on site to produce detailed, site-specific reports.
