Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear
Salary/Benefits: �25k - �42k + Training & Benefits
Our client is a UKAS accredited Asbestos outfit, who have nationwide coverage and a fantastic reputation. Due to recently winning new contracts, they are seeking a hardworking Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to service a mix of commercial and local authority client sites in the North East of England. Our client can also consider candidates who only hold surveying or analytical experience and the corresponding P-Certifications. The role involves travel across: Newcastle upon Tyne, Hebburn, South Shields, Gateshead, Sunderland, Washington, Chester-le-Street, Seaham, Horden, Stanley, Consett, Spennymoor, Durham, Crook, Bishop Auckland, Newton Aycliffe, Darlington, Middlesborough, Redcar, Yarm, Blyth, Cramlington, Ponteland, Whiteley Bay, Guisborough, Saltburn-by-the-Sea.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Must have proven experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst for a UKAS accredited firm
- Will hold the BOHS P402, P403, P404 as a minimum (or RSPH equivalents)
- Able to produce detailed reports for clients and confident discussing findings with clients
- High level of written ability and IT literacy
- Conversant in UKAS, HSG 264 and HSG 248 guidelines
- Experienced in managing teams on site
The Role:
- You will be completing asbestos management, refurbishment and demolition surveys in line with industry guidelines
- Completing 4 Stage Clearances as well as leak, personal, reassurance and background air monitoring
- Conducting re-inspection surveys and discussing findings with clients
- Wearing correct PPE at all times
- Ensuring site staff remain compliant throughout the duration of projects
- Safely collecting ACM samples on site
- Producing comprehensive reports to outline works and recommendations
- Meeting with clients on site
