Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor.
Location: Preston, Lancashire.
Salary / Benefits �24k - �38k + Training + Benefits
We are working closely with a family run UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy based in the North West region. They are now looking to take on a qualified and conscientious Asbestos Surveyor. This role would suit someone who is looking to join a company with a family / friendly feel, who pride themselves on providing high standard asbestos management services to Local Authority, Industrial, Educational, Commercial, and Social Housing clients. Overall, the client is looking for someone who has extensive experience working as an asbestos surveyor and who can hit the ground running, working independently in the role. Our client can offer paid travel time, company pension scheme, opportunities for overtime and an annual bonus. Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate must be willing to travel in line with company and client needs.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Burnley, Blackburn, Blackpool, Bury, Southport, Rochdale, Oldham, Manchester, Stockport, Warrington, Macclesfield, Buxton, Chester, Crewe, Warrington, Liverpool, St Helens, Birkenhead.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Must hold the BOHS P402 and / or RSPH equivalent.
" Will have experience working for an Asbestos Consultancy, working as a surveyor.
" Excellent communication skills.
" Able to prioritise workload in line with company and client needs.
" Excellent attention to detail.
" Familiar using AlphaTRACKER systems.
The Role:
" Working on a mixed portfolio of sites, carrying out management, refurbishment, demolition, and re-inspection surveys.
" Undertaking sampling of ACMs, ensuring to safely bag and label correctly prior to sending to the laboratory.
" Working in line with HSG 264 guidelines.
" Using industry relevant systems to produce detailed and site-specific reports. (AlphaTRACKER)
