Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Tamworth, West Midlands
Salary/Benefits: �25k - �42k + Training & Benefits
Our client is a rapidly growing Asbestos and Compliance company, with a varied portfolio of clients, ranging from Commercial, Local Authority, Industrial and Domestic premises. They are seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor in the Midlands to undertake the full range of asbestos surveys and ensure to provide efficient and professional services to clients. There are excellent opportunities to train into other sectors as well as within Asbestos, so this is a fantastic prospect for an enthusiastic individual. Experience / Qualifications:
- A good level of experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor, ideally within a UKAS accredited outfit
- Must hold the BOHS P402 (or RSPH equivalent)
- Well-versed in HSG 264 and UKAS guidelines
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Able to travel as required
- Proficient in writing bespoke survey reports
The Role:
- Completing Management, Refurbishment and Demolition asbestos surveys in line with industry guidelines
- Re-inspection surveys
- Producing comprehensive survey reports for clients
- Safely collecting suspected ACM samples from site
- Wearing correct PPE at all times
- Attending site to meet with clients and discuss findings
- Ensuring to deliver a high level of customer service
