About the Role:
GSL Education is seeking an experienced ASD Teaching Assistant to support primary school students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in North Shields, Tyne and Wear. This role involves providing tailored support to help students access the curriculum and develop essential skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support and assistance to students with ASD in the classroom.
• Implement individualized learning plans and behavioural strategies.
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to create a supportive learning environment.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to support their development.

The successful candidate will:

• Have previous experience working with students with ASD.
• Demonstrate empathy, patience, and understanding in supporting student needs.
• Possess strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Be committed to promoting inclusivity and equality in education.
