About the Role:
Are you passionate about supporting secondary school students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? GSL Education is looking for a dedicated ASD Teaching Assistant to join schools in North Shields, Tyne and Wear. This role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' lives and contribute to their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group support to students with ASD, helping them to engage in learning activities.
• Assist in implementing behaviour management strategies and support plans.
• Collaborate with teachers and external professionals to promote student progress.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and valued.

The successful candidate will:

• Have experience working with secondary school students with ASD.
• Demonstrate empathy, patience, and resilience in supporting student needs.
• Possess effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Be dedicated to promoting inclusivity and diversity in education.
