ASHP Service Engineer

My client is a leading provider of sustainable solutions, who have recently won an air source heat pump contract with the council looking to expand their team. They are committed to delivering high-quality, energy-efficient products and services to their clients. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Engineer to join their team and support their mission of promoting renewable energy solutions.

Job Summary:

As a Service Engineer for Air Source Heat Pumps, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of air source heat pump systems. You will ensure that their clients receive exceptional service and that their systems operate efficiently and effectively. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install air source heat pump systems according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and service checks to ensure optimal performance of systems.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in air source heat pump systems promptly and efficiently.
  • Provide technical support and advice to customers, ensuring they understand the operation and maintenance of their systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used, ensuring all documentation is completed correctly.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies during all work activities.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to stay current with industry advancements and company products.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure a seamless service experience for customers.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a service engineer, preferably with air source heat pumps or similar HVAC systems.
  • Relevant technical qualifications, such as NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent.
  • F-Gas certification (Category I or II) is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various client locations.

Package:

  • Salary of �40,000
  • Company Vehicle
  • 8% Pension
  • Overtime 1.5/2x enhancement.
  • 33 Days holiday (BH Included)
