Details of an Assembler

Hixon ST18

Hours are Monday to Thursday 7am - 4:30pm

Friday 7am - 12:15pm

Pay is �12.50 P/H

Roles of an Assembler

Sub assembly and assembly of professional mowers manufactured in house

Work to standard operating procedure (SOP)

Highlight and assist in problem solving any quality issues and complete any paperwork as instructed

Assist in overcoming production related problems with regards to quality and build

Report any potential material shortages

Participate in continuous improvement/ lean manufacturing activities

Ensure production targets are achieved

Complete predelivery inspection (PDI) and associated paperwork on finished machines

Final inspection and packaging of finished machines, accessories and spares

Ensure health and safety guidelines are followed

5S house keeping

You may be required to perform such other and/or additional duties within your skill and competence as the business may require

Requirements of an Assembler

Mechanical assembly experience including hydraulics and electrical

Ability to use technical manuals, drawings and standard operating procedures

Technical knowledge of machinery and understanding of how to manage and maintain their continuous working

Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team and using own initiative

Ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet production targets

Driving licence preferred due to rural location
