Job Title: Mechanical  Assembly Operative

Salary: £26,590 per annum

Hours: Monday to Thursday (Apply online only), Friday (Apply online only)

About the Role:

We are seeking a Mechanical /Electrical Assembly Operative with a keen eye for detail, a problem-solving mindset, and hands-on experience in repair and fault finding. This permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for a mechanically minded individual to join a dynamic and supportive team in Swadlincote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble mechanical/electrical components accurately and efficiently.


• Identify and troubleshoot faults


• Follow technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.


• Ensure quality standards are met throughout the assembly/recondition process.


• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in mechanical assembly or a similar role.


• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.


• Mechanically minded with excellent attention to detail.


• Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented attitude.
