Key Responsibilities:
  • Assembling complex, high precision mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Using precision measurement tools from first principles
  • Reading and interpreting engineering design and assembly drawings
  • Collaborating effectively within a team to achieve team objectives
  • Communicating with customers while maintaining sensitivity to commercial factors
  • Potential travel to other locations (including overseas) for short-medium periods
Job Requirements:
  • Experience in the assembly of complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Proficiency in precision measurement using manual measurement equipment
  • Ability to understand and work from engineering drawings
  • Good communication skills and ability to solve problems effectively
  • Intermediate level of PC skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel
  • Minimum GCSE in Mathematics and English (Grade C or above)
  • Traditional apprenticeship served; further vocational qualifications are an advantage
