Assembly Technician

I am currently recruiting for an Assembly Technician to work for a company based in Salisbury who specialise in the manufacture of ventilation systems.

This Assembly Technician role is a temporary position with a view to go permanent You will be working Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm and Friday 8am to 3.30pm paying £11.50 per hour.

As an Assembly Technician you will be working as a team with the following responsibilities:

Establish assembly operations from parts list and working instructions.
Mechanical assembly of industrial fans, referring to working instructions using hand and power tools
Report to supervision any error found in component parts and problems leading to difficulty in assembly
Ensure required standards of safety are adhered to and good housekeeping is maintained in the work areas.
Report any health and safety concerns to supervision or the health and safety representative.

I am keen to hear from candidates who have experience working in a manufacturing environment and have experience as an Assembly Technician.
