Asset & Facilities Surveyor -  Leeds - £42,000

The Company

One of the UKs largest train operators is looking to improve the way they handle their asset management data.

The company have a high degree of data on their AMS system regarding each of the 469 stations, although this quickly becomes out of date.

You will be improving the management of this data by updating the system and completing  physical audits & surveys. It is crucial that this data is accurately collected and updated as senior management will be looking to make evidence based and factual strategic decisions for the future investments at each station.

The Role

This individual will be key in managing the efficiency & performance of the AMS system by completing surveys to collect and verify critical information about the Assets/Stations. This will ensure that accurate management of the data is maintained, which will ultimately allow the relevant data to be considered when making high-value business decisions.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a Surveying or Facilities Management background to transition into an ever-evolving, asset management-oriented role. You will use your knowledge of Asset Verification and Validation.

The Candidate:


  • Background in Surveying / Facilities Management
  • Understanding of Asset Verification/Validation
  • Analytical experience – ability to work with data and identify trends
  • Strong user of Excel

Location


  • Leeds although travel to other sites across the rail network is required
  • Hybrid – Mixture between office based, station based & home based

Salary & Benefits


  • £35,000 - £42,000
  • Free rail travel on owned lines
