Asset Management Surveyor - Capital Works/Stock Conditions
£30p/h Umbrella Rate (Inside IR35)

What will you do?
Stock Condition Surveys: This involves assessing the condition of existing housing stock to inform long-term investment needs. This is typically part of asset management.

Responsibilities:
·Surveying properties based on strategic objectives and knowledge of the stock.
·Identifying investment opportunities for environmental sustainability.
·Liaising with other teams such as Capital Programme Delivery, Engineers, and Housing Operations, which suggests coordination across various functions related to asset management.
·Responding to ad-hoc requests and preparing reports, which is common in asset management roles.
·Ensuring accuracy of condition data in management systems (Northgate Housing Management System and Codeman system) - indicative of asset data management.
·Maximising use of survey time through close liaison with the Survey & Asset Manager - focusing on efficiency and effectiveness in managing assets.
 
What do you need?  
To be successful in your application for this role you will need to demonstrate ALL the following on application and through the interview process:
·UK resident
·Minimum 5+ years' building surveying experience within Local Authority/Social Housing
·Degree or Management Qualification or equivalent experience
·Can demonstrate a sound knowledge and experience of undertaking stock condition surveys on all types of housing stock - traditional and non-traditional construction
·Experience of working with Codeman or other asset management software.
