Assistant Accountant

Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join a well-established business based in Southampton, reporting into the Head of Finance on a permanent basis. This role will be responsible for preparing financial information and reporting within the group function.
The Role:
Preparing monthly management accounts
Bank and balance sheet reconciliation
Identifying discrepancies and providing a solution
Support with all aspects of sales and purchase ledger
Work closely with the Head of Finance with ad hoc tasks
The Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience within a similar role
Studying towards or completed an AAT qualification
Strong understanding of double entry – essential
Able to prioritise workload
