Assistant Accountant

Are you AAT qualified, or an experienced QBE Bookkeeper with experience of preparing management accounts? Please look no further for this fantastic Immediate Start Assistant Accountant role!! 

Elevation Recruitment are delighted to be partnered with a well established organisation based in Worksop, to recruit this role on an initial 4-5 months, but as this is due to changes in the wider organisation, there could absolutely be scope for extension or permanency!!
Working within a close knit finance team and reporting to the Finance Director, this role will involve:

• End to end bookkeeping for one business subsidiary
• Processing all invoice payments and all supplier statement reconciliations
• All accounts receivable duties, including credit checks, billing, and debt management
• All journal postings and month end management accounts to trial balance
• Bank reconciliations
• Expense management

To be successful in applying for this role, you will bring:

• Proven experience in an accounting role, ideally within a multinational company
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
• Proficient in accounting software and Excel
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Ideally you will be AAT Qualified, or with extensive proven experience to hit the ground running
