Assistant Accountant Description: Hunter Savage are delighted to support a returning client in the FMCG industry, who are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their strong finance team on a permanent basis. The Assistant Accountant will assist the Management Accountant, to prepare and deliver comprehensive P&L reports and related financial information. Additionally, provide crucial support to the Management Accountant through in-depth business analysis. Create and distribute weekly key performance indicators (KPIs) to the broader management team. Perform weekly bank reconciliations for both sterling and euro accounts. Offer support to the broader Finance Department. Provide backup support for Payroll operations. The Person: Possess a technician qualification, part accountancy qualification, or an equivalent certification. Ability to work effectively under pressure. Strong IT skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel (including Pivot tables and V lookups). Exhibit first-class attention to detail and accuracy. Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
