Assistant Accountant

The role is based in Haverhill in Suffolk since they have expanded in the last couple of years to occupy a site here as well as their original site in Essex. Widdington Recycling is Essex's leading waste management company.
About the role...
You will be assisting the Accounts Manager in a wide range of tasks which will benefit your learning whilst being a key member of the team and training to take over the accounts manager role in the future.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Raising sales invoices
Credit control procedures
Processing supplier invoices
Handling of logical queries
Reconciliations within accounting software
Generating financial reports for key stakeholders
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
Supporting the finance team with various ad-hoc tasks and projects
