Assistant Accountant

Currently recruiting for the below role in Nottingham on a 6 month contract basis:

Assistant Accountant main duties:

• Support other functions within the department such as management accounting and business partnering
• Complying with financial laws and regulations alongside in-house policies
• Variance analysis reporting.
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Performing reconciliations of accounts
• Report and analyse performance across all business channels.
• Preparing VAT returns
• Supporting month end duties
• Assist budgeting and forecasting
• Assist audit & statutory reporting
• Ad-hoc project work.

The successful applicant will be AAT qualified and ideally part qualified in either CIMA or ACCA, they will have an analytical mindset with excellent attention-to-detail as well as being a great communicator.
