Assistant Accountant

Currently recruiting for the below role in Nottingham on a 6 month contract basis:

Assistant Accountant main duties:

Support other functions within the department such as management accounting and business partnering
Complying with financial laws and regulations alongside in-house policies
Variance analysis reporting.
Balance sheet reconciliations
Performing reconciliations of accounts
Report and analyse performance across all business channels.
Preparing VAT returns
Supporting month end duties
Assist budgeting and forecasting
Assist audit & statutory reporting
Ad-hoc project work.
The successful applicant will be AAT qualified and ideally part qualified in either CIMA or ACCA, they will have an analytical mindset with excellent attention-to-detail as well as being a great communicator.
