Position: Payroll Assistant
Location: Anstey (Office-based)
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience)

Join our client, a thriving manufacturing company in Leicestershire, as a valued member of their Finance Team. This full-time, permanent role offers a fantastic chance to develop your skills in a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing using Bright Pay software (training provided).
  • Ensure timely and accurate payroll operations.
  • Handle PAYE, National Insurance, and other statutory deductions.
  • Prepare payroll tax returns and generate reports.
  • Support month-end and year-end payroll activities.
  • Assist with Balance Sheet reconciliations and Trial Balance.
  • Undertake basic management accounts tasks.
  • Manage pension administration.
  • Support HR administrative tasks.
  • Perform general administrative duties as needed.

About You:


  • Proven experience in payroll administration.
  • Strong understanding of UK payroll regulations and legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in IT, particularly Excel.
  • Studying AAT (preferred).
