The UK nationwide business will be looking for a January start date to join the established team. Reporting into a qualified Head of Finance, key duties include Balance Sheet recs and contributing towards VAT returns. This position is hybrid working and is salaried up to �30,000.

The recognised UK nationwide business will be looking for a January / February start date to join the already established team. Reporting into a qualified Head of Finance, key duties include Balance Sheet r and contributing towards VAT returns for example. This position is hybrid working, offers ACCA / CIMA study support and is salaried up to �30,000 per annum.

Description

As Assistant Accountant reporting into both a qualified Head of Finance and Senior Finance Manager, you will be successfully responsible for key duties such as balance sheet reconciliations and contributing towards VAT returns for example.

Alongside this will be providing assistance for essential transactions duties such as payment runs and bank reconciliations to name a few.

There will also be stakeholder management with the wider financial and non financial stakeholders in the organisation, which includes supporting with any daily / weekly finance analytic.

Company training will be provided.

Profile

• Either Degree educated or studying AAT / ACCA / CIMA or is qualified by experience
• Happy to work out of the London office when needed with transport and commute expenses
• Experience of financial duties such as Balance sheet reconciliations, VAT returns, Payment runs, Bank reconciliations and variance analysis etc
• Comfortable with excel such as vlookup or pivot tables
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Keen to progress within the company
