Due to an increase in business, an exciting opportunity has been created for a time served Assistant Accountant. You will be the essential link between accounts support staff and the Financial Controller by assisting with transactional and management accounts.
THE ROLE:
Full time, permanent, office based.
Be the link between the transactional accounts team and the Financial Controller.
Assist with management accounts, budgets, cash flow and prep of financial reports.
Support ledger processing, credit control, reconciliations, payroll, banking.
Observe current procedures and have confidence to justify improvements.
THE CANDIDATE:
Possess varied accounts knowledge gained from within a similar role.
Able to manage all aspects of ledgers, credit control, month end, payroll.
Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
Show a willingness to help colleagues facing strict deadlines.
AAT qualification not essential, but would be an advantage.
