Assistant Accountant

We are currently supporting a local charity on the recruitment of an Assistant Accountant, this will be on a 2-3 month temporary assignment.�
This position will be full time however 4 days may be considered, the role is based in central Cambridge with access to parking onsite.�
Reporting into the Financial Controller this role will take responsibility for the following -�
- Set up payment for all supplier invoices and staff expenses, send remittances to suppliers and manage direct debits.
- Complete bank reconciliations
- Oversee processing and review of supplier invoices
- Raise customer invoices as required
- Assist with the preparation of month end accounts including prepayments, accruals, intercompany reconciliations and fixed asset management.�
You must be able to demonstrate a strong level of accounting experience, be well organised and be able to prioritise tasks effectively. You must be available to start at short notice.�
