Following our successful opening last year, Cheal's Restaurant Knowle is recruiting for a Assistant Bar Manager to join our passionate team.
Working within a highly trained and experienced management team you will be in charge of overseeing our two bars, managing the bar team and working on menu development. As our guest always come first, along with the rest of the team you will be providing first class service and developing a rapport with all of our guests.

Full time contract (48 hours)
4 day working week, Wednesday to Saturday
3 days off including Sunday!

The Role Managing your section during lunch and dinner shifts
Taking orders, explaining dishes to guests and maintaining your tables
Full understanding of our food & cocktail menu
The Person Enthusiastic and positive individual with excellent communication skills
High energy, curiosity, and quick learning would be highly appreciated
Long-term experience behind the bar (but not limited to) in a high end venue in a similar role or as head bartender in a high standard venue, ideally to 2 AA Rosette Level or above
Steady career showing progression
Experience with stock control and ordering
Knowledge of regulations related to alcohol service
Passion and knowledge of non-alcoholic and alcoholic cocktails, spirits, wines and beers
Awareness of market trends, ability to contribute to new and existing drink lists alongside bartenders
Passionate about staff training and development, eagerness to maintain the highest standards
