Assistant Building Surveyor

Our client, a multi-disciplinary consultancy, is actively seeking an Assistant Building Surveyor to join their growing London office. The successful candidate will work across both advisory and consulting roles, focusing on the project-oriented aspects of the company.

Project values range from �500,000 to �6 million and typically include private refurbishments, major fa�ade remediation, exterior renovation contracts, and internal common area design works.

This position is primarily office-based, with site visits as necessary. While projects are nationwide, efforts are made to keep them as regional as possible due to the consultancy's various offices across the UK.

Assistant Building Surveyor Position Overview - This Will Differ Dependent On Experience

• The building surveyor will be responsible for managing multiple projects at one time, acting as either contract administrator or as a lead consultant / project manager.
• Conduct defect analysis
• Conduct planned maintenance programming
• Adhere to landlord and tenant matters
• Party wall matters
• Reinstate cost assessments
• Provide general advice

Assistant Building Surveyor Position Requirements

• Knowledge of JCT Contracts is an essential - Knowledge of other contracts on top such NEC will be advantageous
• Previous experience in a similar position' minimum 2 years
• Looking to pursue APC
• Dependent on experience and stage of your career, must want to pursue chartership status
• Full driving license

Assistant Building Surveyor Position Remuneration

• Salary: �35,000 to �40,000 DOE
