Assistant Commercial Manager / Assistant QS - NEC 3/4

Position: Assistant Commercial Manager /��Assistant Quantity Surveyor - NEC 4
Rate: �240 (Indicative Outside IR35)
Location: Birmingham�
Start date: ASAP
Contract Duration: March 2025
Working Arrangements: Hybrid 3 days office/Site & 2 days home
People Group are looking to recruit a Assistant Commercial Manager from a Client Side background to work for a Train Operating Company.
Everyday responsibilities will include:

• Assist in preparing subcontract enquiries / quotation comparisons and subcontract documents.
• Participate in recording of and payment for subcontract work, including processing of subcontract payments.
• Assist in cost monitoring of site resources and undertake costing activities.
• Assist in valuation of changes to work scope.
• Measure completed works for interim and final accounts.

To be suitable for this role, you will need:

• Relevant qualification (Degree, HNC/D)
• Good communication and IT skills.
• Experience working�Client side, Preferably Network Rail or Train Operating Company
• NEC 3/4�contract experience favourable
• They need a proactive individual that will challenge the programme / support CE challenges.
