We are recruiting an Apprentice Assistant Cost Consultant to join our team in September 2025.ROLE DESCRIPTION:We are seeking a motivated individual to join our dynamic London-based team on our Apprenticeship programme. This full-time, hybrid position entails the delivery of cost consultancy services for exciting and large-scale residential developments across the UK.In this role, you will collaborate closely with project teams, learning and undertaking cost management processes both pre- and post-contract, including:Cost planningSite visitsProcurement & tenderingValuationsVariationsCost reportingIn collaboration with our partners at the University of Westminster, you will enrol on a part-time BSc Honours degree in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management which is fully accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Successful completion fulfils the academic requirements to become a professional member with the designation MRICS after gaining experience in the workplace and passing the Assessment of Professional Competence.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:Passionate about pursuing a long-term career as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor/Cost Consultant in the construction industry.An adaptable individual who can work within a team and autonomously (when required)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsKeen attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and accuracy, and a thorough understanding of quality assurance processes.High standards of literacy and numeracy.Strong time management and prioritisation abilities.Demonstrable passion for the Real Estate and Construction Industry.Aspiration to achieve Membership status of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).Drive, enthusiasm, and willingness to explore new methods of working.WHAT YOU’LL GET IN RETURN:Collaboration: Opportunity to work with a diverse team with some of the best cost and project management consultants in the industryUniversity Course: Fully funded RICS accredited Degree (Part-time)Career Development Planning: with training and support structure in placeHybrid working policy: flexibility to work from the office and homeHoliday: we offer 27 days holiday plus bank holidays.
