They have a proven track record as a multi-disciplinary contractor of delivering complex and innovative engineering solutions across a wide range of sectors which include defence, energy, water, maritime, flood risk management, and regeneration.You will be working for a business that has an extensive and impressive list of employee benefits, which is a definite selling point in terms of a place to work!Your new role:In addition to organising and overseeing the tender process through communication with other departments, contractors, and the customer, you will be creating a predicted net cost model for proposed civil engineering projects.You will also actively be seeking out new business opportunities while establishing and preserving relationships with both new and current contracts. As a Civils Estimator that will be joining the business on a permanent basis, you will take commercial responsibility for various projects across a hybrid working model working in their Preston office. What you'll need to succeed:Experience working as an Assistant Estimator who has experience working for a UK Construction company.Experience using estimating software would be beneficial.You could be a Quantity Surveyor who is looking to move into Estimating.Commercial experienceSomeone has the ambitions to progress.
