Assistant Estimator

I am working with a company who are looking to grow their preconstruction team and recruit an Assistant Estimator to join their Rugby team.

You will support the work-winning team and contribute to competitive tenders for new construction and refurbishment projects up to �30 million in value.

The Key responsibilities:

• Prepare and support competitive tender and framework submissions from first principles for construction projects
• Actively participate in tender processes for projects up to �2 millions
• Participate in post-tender negotiations and ensure a successful handover to delivery teams upon award
• Maintain professional communication, liaising confidently with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders
• Build effective relationships to foster trust and respect within our supply chain and with customers
• Assist in developing tender strategies, managing enquiries, and preparing accurate cost estimates.
• Support bid management by influencing suppliers and subcontractors to achieve optimum solutions and the best net price.
• Take ownership of individual tenders, presenting quality pricing packages and fully scheduled risk and opportunity registers.
