Annyalla Chicks currently has a vacancy for an Assistant Farm Manager to join our team in the Everingham area. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return as our Assistant Farm Manager, you will receive a competitive salary of £30,000.00-£31,000.00 per year.

As Assistant Farm Manager you will assist and deputise for the Farm Manager at our breeder Farm in Everingham. You will normally work with your birds, organise farm administration, work equipment and monitor site contractors at all times. The ideal candidate will have a passion for agriculture and possess the necessary skills to manage farm activities effectively.
Main duties and responsibilities as our Assistant Farm Manager:

• Manage and supervise farm staff, providing guidance and support where needed
\n
• Ensure that the welfare of the birds is adhered to at all times
\n
• Day to day observations of birds and necessary paperwork
\n
• Maintain up to date records as per Red Tractor Scheme standards
\n

Skills and experience required to become our Assistant Farm Manager:

• Attention to detail
\n
• Ability to manage time effectively
\n
• Computer literate
\n
• Experience in the poultry industry is essential for this role
\n
• NVQ Level 2 in Poultry Production
\n
