Description

As Assistant Management Accountant reporting into a Qualified Head of Finance and Qualified Financial Controller, you will be successfully responsible for contributing towards the production of the management accounts with key duties such as accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations and fixed assets for example.

Alongside this will be business partnering and stakeholder management with the wider financial and non financial stakeholders, such as Operational Managers for example supporting on certain aspects of variance analysis and profit & loss.

Training will be provided on other ad hoc duties that include but not limited too cash flow forecasting & VAT returns etc.

Profile

• Ideally AAT Level 4 or ACCA / CIMA part qualified (or exemptions from degree) or anyone Qualified by Experience.
• Experience of management accounts drafting and preparing with either of the key duties such as balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments, accruals, fixed assets or variance analysis.
• Confident with Microsoft excel such as vlookup and pivot tables.
• Any cash flow forecasting or budgeting is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder management.
• Key eye for details.
• Can work individually and as part of a wider finance team.
