Assistant Management Accountant

Assistant Management Accountant - Leeds (Hybrid) - Permanent - Up to £35,000 + Study Support
Job Duties:

• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
• Support in preparing financial reports and statements
• Assist in monitoring financial KPIs
• Help with year-end audit preparation

Required Qualifications:

• AAT qualified or working towards a professional accounting qualification
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

Education:

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role
• Experience in assisting with management accounts

Knowledge and Skills:

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• CIMA or ACCA part-qualified
• Experience in the finance sector

Working Conditions:

• Office-based role in Leeds
• Standard working hours with occasional overtime during busy periods
