The practice are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Manager/Senior Associate to join the Corporate Finance/Advisory team. You will undertake a variety of dynamic projects, playing an integral role in planning, monitoring, and completing assignments within a team environment. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of services, from valuations and due diligence reports to formal Merger and Acquisition work, as well as advisory and restructuring projects. What you will do: Assist in overseeing a portfolio of Business Advisory and Corporate Finance projects. Provide technical support to colleagues and ensure the delivery of high-quality work. Prepare financial projections for businesses. Assist in the preparation of business plans and due diligence reports. Identify and investigate key issues in potential target businesses for acquisition purposes. Prepare Independent Business Reviews. Conduct accurate and relevant analysis and interrogate financial models. Engage in financial analyses and report writing. Advise businesses on reducing costs and managing working capital. Financial management of a portfolio of clients, including budgeting, monitoring project costs, and implementing corrective measures as needed. Plan, monitor, and complete work within the team, and deputise for managers when necessary. Provide coaching and mentoring to less experienced colleagues. Ensure all correspondence, reports, and other written output adhere to the firm's quality standards and regulatory requirements. Establish new contacts to expand your network of work referrers. Maintain strong working relationships with clients and work providers. What you will have: Qualified Chartered or Certified accountant (ACA or ACCA). Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in a Business Advisory/Corporate Finance role. Financial Modelling skills, including experience in preparing financial projections. Proven ability to deliver exceptional client service within tight timescales. Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify key issues from analytical data. Working knowledge of relevant regulatory and statutory requirements. Good organisational and administrative skills. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages. Team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to adapt to change.
