We are seeking a talented Assistant Manager to join our clients deal advisory team in Birmingham. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting financial due diligence engagements, conducting financial analysis, and assisting in the preparation of reports for our clients.Responsibilities:Conduct detailed financial analysis and review of company financial statements, forecasts, and other relevant documents.Assist in identifying key financial and operational risks and opportunities during due diligence processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information and data for analysis.Prepare comprehensive due diligence reports highlighting key findings, risks, and recommendations.Support senior management in client meetings and presentations, providing insights and recommendations based on due diligence findings.Contribute to the development and enhancement of due diligence methodologies, tools, and best practices.Mentor and supervise junior team members, providing guidance and support as needed.Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to financial due diligence.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CFA) preferred.Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial analysis techniques.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful insights.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines.Strong leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior team members.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software applications.
