In other words: our values. Whatever we do, wherever we are in the world, we lead the way, serve with integrity, take care of each other, foster inclusion, and collaborate for measurable impact. These five shared values lead every decision we make and action we take, guiding us to deliver impact how and where it matters most.Connect to your opportunity The role will be to support the team in managing the firm’s legal and regulatory requirements within the area of financial crime, focussing on anti-bribery and corruption, market abuse and preventing the facilitation of tax evasion.You will be involved in:Conducting research and regulatory analysis to support the team in developing technical material and responding to new and emerging financial crime risks.Supporting the implementation of the firm’s financial crime risk and controls frameworksCarrying out monitoring activities in relation to the firm’s financial crime controlsAssisting both internal risk and client facing teams with financial crime technical queries. This will involve using knowledge of our controls in conjunction with the relevant laws/industry guidance and current environment.Producing management reports, technical briefings and regulatory analysis summaries.Supporting or leading ad-hoc projects in relation to interpreting and applying financial crime related requirements to the business environment.Connect to your skills and professional experience You’re a natural at taking initiative. Someone who operates well in an environment where regulations change and evolve and where we need to adapt quickly to remain compliant. You will be comfortable working with regulation that is open to interpretation, be able to make reasoned arguments and communicate these clearly to stakeholders across the business.You will have:Experience of working in a regulated environment, preferably in Professional Services or Law Firm.An understanding of financial crime considerations as they apply to professional services firms and how internal policies and procedures are structured and implemented.Experience of responding to technical queries based on regulation applicable to a regulated sector, using up to date knowledge of relevant laws and industry guidance.Experience of key components of compliance programmes such as risk assessments, designing and monitoring controls, producing  documents such as management reports, technical briefings and regulatory analysis summaries. The ability to follow defined processes while using your own judgment and thinking outside of those boundaries to deliver continuous improvement.The ability to make reasoned decisions and communicate those decisions with clarity and confidence.Connect to your business – Enabling FunctionsCollaboration is central to everything we do at Deloitte.
