As part of our continued growth, we're looking for an Assistant Manager to play a pivotal role in our events and operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Bookings & Coordination: Manage all event enquiries, ensuring seamless planning, communication, and execution of private and corporate events.
Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day venue operations, ensuring smooth running of both front-of-house and back-of-house teams during events.
Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate a team of staff to deliver excellent customer service and create an exceptional guest experience.
Marketing & Social Media: Develop and implement social media campaigns to promote events and special offers. Work closely with the marketing team to ensure our venues presence and growth in the market.
Customer Service Excellence: Ensure high standards of service are maintained, resolving any customer issues or concerns quickly and professionally.
Health & Safety & Compliance: Maintain health and safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation.
Event Analysis & Reporting: Assist in tracking event performance, guest satisfaction, and sales to ensure continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in event management, hospitality, or a similar role, preferably within a venue with large-scale bookings and food & beverage operations.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple bookings and projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using booking systems, social media platforms, and other relevant software.
Strong leadership and team management experience.
A proactive, can-do attitude with a creative flair for event execution and marketing.
